I grew up around the trades, spending a significant part of my life on the job site. My father and past generations have spent over a century in residential construction throughout the Metro-East area, primarily in Madison County, IL. Having worked on a wide variety of job sites, I've gained the knowledge and experience to operate heavy equipment, read a job site, and deliver work that holds up.

Following the economic downturn of 2008 and the years immediately after, residential construction took quite a hit in this area. At the time, I was finishing my undergraduate degree, so I decided to earn a pharmacy degree and build a career in healthcare while always keeping one foot connected to the trades. When my wife's career began requiring more travel, I saw an opportunity to redirect my time toward my original passion — putting equipment to work, staying close to home with the kids, and building something of my own.

Wicks Land and Yard Management is the result: a business built on decades of hands-on experience, the right equipment, and a commitment to showing up with high expectations for my work.
